I am working on a huge list of professional terms that will be imported soon. It takes me time to import new terms because I don't dump-import terms. I review the terms and spell-check them before importing. This takes time, but I cannot compromise the quality of ArabTerm. ArabTerm is a terminology portal and I am trying to make it a reliable resource for everybody. So, please stay tuned.
I will be adding a bunch of terms in the following fields soon:
- Dentistry
- General terms; the ones you can find in Al Mawrid for example
- Medical terminology in various fields: radiology, etc
- History terms
- Idioms and expressions
- Philosophy
- Statistics
- Sports
- E-Business including ERP, CRM and HR terminology
and the list goes on, but again the terms should at least be checked prior to import and I would never dump-import any terminology list I have.
Again, you can help us by providing reliable glossaries, translation memories, term lists, etc.
I know that Content is king. Once I am satisfied with the content we have, I will be adding new features to make ArabTerm the first Social Arabic Terminology website.
